Abstract

Effect of technology factors in pipe & tube production on pitting corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking resistance of pipes made of widespread corrosion-resistant ferritic-austenitic (duplex) steel is investigated. New regimes of heat treatment and other technological measures enhancing corrosion resistance, operate reliability and competitiveness of pipes are developed.
