Abstract

The results of investigation of the effect of disperse ferrosilicon additions in charge mixture “pitch coke + coal-tar pitch” on properties of graphitized samples after high-temperature annealing at 1800 °С, 2200 °С and 2600 °С are stated. Ferrosilicon addition in quantity of 1 % provides commensurable parameters by degree of graphitation, specific electrical resistance and physical and mechanical characteristics at 2200 °С as compared to the samples annealed at 2600 °С.
