The most significant Anosov's achievements in the field of metallurgy: in the beginning of 40th years of XIX century he received cast damask steel from which the blades were made. Those blades were not worse than classical weapon of Ancient India. Creation of new method of high-quality steel production was carried out by combination of carbonization and metal smelting.

* For the first time Anosov has applied a microscope to research a structure of steel (1831);
* Substituted an unhealthy mercury gilding of blades on galvanic;
* Offered and tested a way of gold reception from gold containing sand by smelting in furnaces;
* Improved the gold washer and other factory devices.
