Vladimir Shatoha graduated from Dnepropetrovsk Iron and Steel Institute (1982, metallurgic engineer).

Prorector in scientific-pedagogic activity of National metallurgical academy of Ukraine (2001- till present).

Principal direction of scientific and scientific-pedagogic activity: high-temperature properties of iron-ore materials, thermodynamic interaction modeling metal- slag, solid fuel gasification, recovery of iron-bearing wastes. Published 97 scientific works, 2 textbooks, including “Ecologic production support of pig iron”.

The co-author of 2 monographs, including “Smelting, slagging and formation of composition of pig-iron in blast-furnace process”.
