Short biography

A specialist in the field of metallurgy and metal science. After graduation Petersburg polytechnic institute (1908) taught in the same place. In 1916-25 he worked at «Electrostal» (Moscow region). Since 1921 had been teaching in Moscow mining academy (since 1930 - Moscow institute of steel). The basic tractatesare connected with theory of metallurgical processes. Decorated with Lenin's and medals.
