The results of such an interaction are determined by the joint accounting of model physic-chemical parameters of slag and refractories structure. It is established, that  corrosiveness of blast furnace slags in relation to refrectories as well as their refining ability are determined by slag properties and, first of all, their viscosity and surface tension. The predicative models for calculation of viscosity and surface tension of blast furnace slags that are used in true-to-life conditions of JSC “Iron & Steel Integrated Works “Krivorizhstal” are developed for optimization of blast furnace slags and quality cast iron production.
